From the Cook's Garden

"From the Cook's Garden" was the title of the presentation at our November meeting. National food and garden writer and cook, kitchen garden designer Ellen Ecker Ogden gave an interesting talk with beautiful slides of some fabulous gardens that combine food and flowers. She gave us lots of tips on how to jazz up and combine both types of gardens, usually done separately!

This followed our business meeting at Grace Church. It was very well attended with several prospective new members. There was lots of good news with the results of fund raising projects exceeding expectations. The wreath sale which just finished was an outstanding success. Our hostesses provided a beautiful and delicious lunch -as you can see from the photo - and that is only a small part of it!

That's Esther Swett above left giving us the good news results on the Holiday Wreath and Swag sale. And on the right, our hostesses for the luncheon, from the left: Michelle Dauphinais, Betty Spooner, Mary Wasserman, and Judy Nevin (not shown in the picture: Margery Salmon and Jan Semp) ..
