The Rutland Garden Club organizes programs with assisted living facilities and the Boys & Girl's Club of Rutland during the year. Last February we had a Valentine's flower arranging workshop and distributed lovely mini bouquets to local assisted living centers.

We hosted a lively outreach at The Boys and Girl's Club in celebration of Arbor Day with local foresters and community children. The children were very attentive and eager to question the foresters. They planted their own Eastern RedBud tree to take home.

Again this summer, members of the Rutland Garden Club hosted a booth at Rutland's Friday Night Live. helping any children who wished to make their own Dish Garden.  It was a fun evening filled with tiny plants as each child crafted their ideal garden!
