The Rutland Garden Club is committed to outreach into the community. This spring we brightened our senior neighbors' days with two lively events!
[wonderful photos by Michele and Sue H!]
In March, JoAnn coordinated a visit to the St. Joseph Kervick Residence. Residents and guests enjoyed flower arranging in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.

Thanks to Sue H, Betsy R, JoAnn, Michele, Shirlee and Sherry K for the great camaraderie !

In April, the team gathered at Trinity Church to create miniature spring arrangements to deliver to residents at area nursing homes.

A note of thanks from JoAnn:
"Thank you so much for your contribution to our spring thing! We made over 50 mini faux-flower arrangements which were delivered to Mountain View, The Pines, and the Meadows. "
"Michele had made a beautiful prototype which I brought directly to Taffy M. from the RGC. It was a great chance to chat with fellow members while producing small arrangements to bring cheer to others. Michele brought flowers and greens ready to go, as well as milk glass votive size containers - and goodies! "

"Combined with our St Patrick’s Day project at Kervick we have touched seventy senior citizens over the past month! Thanks, again and a special shout out to Michele who always just happens to have goodies to help fuel our efforts."
Thanks to Betsy R, Susan P., Jo F., Sue H., Mary W. and Michele!

Reviews from the gang: "Such a great bunch of gals! "It was a fun time with great ladies!" "Thanks to Michele for all the organization and guidance!" "The goodies are always the best!"
"It certainly ran very smoothly and was fun thanks to the great organization by Michele and JoAnn. So happy I could make it!"
