Change of Seasons!

Every fall the Rutland Garden Club members gather to bundle seasonal greens and replace the summer flower boxes with a holiday flare. They bundle up warmly and tie together fragrant pine, balsam and cedar with bright red berries. Our Beautification Chair Jo Fretz with a few friends empties the downtown window boxes of their flowers and drops off the winter bundles. A few days another group of members meet downtown and arrange the greens in the boxes. Voila - Rutland is ready for winter!

Each bundle contains a combination of pine, cedar and balsam with a few red berries for color.
